this guy is playing brilliant golf. I don’t want to jinx it but I’m pretty sure tgiab’s favorite athlete will win this year’s Open Championship. Despite our new found love for the ageless Tom Watson, we still have a soft spot for The Lion. At -2, Daly played “the best first round he’s (I’ve) played since probably ‘95″. With his new slim look and stylish pants, there’s no one on the course that can compete with his fanfare. He’s the Mike Tyson of golf, and everyone wants to see him succeed. I think this is his year to make a comeback. He’s taking himself seriously again, and that should strike fear in every PGA golfer. I’d even argue he has the most pure talent in the game. How many guys can over come a Jack Daniels addiction, obesity, crazy babes, and a fledgling clothing company and still compete at this level? I don’t think there’s an answer to that.
