As long as there have been sports, there have been half-time shows. My history is a little fuzzy, but I believe the first half-time show ever took place at the Roman Coliseum in ancient times. In between gladiatorial matches, they would bring out Christians and feed them to the Lions to keep the crowd interested. [...]
